Is it just me or is suicide becoming as common as getting a tattoo? Recently, Growing Pains' Andrew Koenig was reported missing and then his body was found after he had sold all his possessions and taken his own life. Just last week we got the sad news that Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, jumped from an apartment building in LA. He had reportedly sent a text to a friend just before jumping telling her that she was his only friend in LA and that he was extremely unhappy. This morning, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino President and COO Andrew (Randy) Kwasniewski was found dead of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to TMZ, his wife found his body in their Las Vegas home. The Las Vegas Police have launched an investigation but it obviously looks to be a suicide. Details will most certainly emerge as we learn more about his final days.
Come on, folks, there are people out there who can help. Then again, these things tend to come in three's so perhaps we're safe for a while. Too soon? Yeah, you're right.
